This glossary provides an overview and guidance on key terms currently associated with the concept of "antisemitism" in public discourse. Despite its widespread relevance, the precise definition and various manifestations of antisemitism are not always clear. Therefore, this glossary aims to clarify and support the understanding of these terms in a comprehensible manner. It also acknowledges that many of the concepts discussed are the subject of ongoing societal debate and are subject to change. The glossary is based on the current state of knowledge and draws from existing scholarly literature, academic works, and previously published glossaries.
The glossary does not claim to be comprehensive. Efforts are made to use self-identifying terms as consistently as possible. However, there may be instances where certain terms could perpetuate/ reproduce/ reflect antisemitism. These terms are included only for educational and explanatory purposes.
