After a very successful seventh cycle of its International Female Scholars Mentoring Program (IFS Mentoring), the UoC has announced a new cycle beginning in January 2020 which can be apllied for until October 31, 2019. Women still encounter specific challenges in the academic environment and their scientific community as well as in working environments outside of academia. Not only do they find themselves to be underrepresented in (non-)scientific careers, especially in higher positions, but they also face the difficult situation of juggling family responsibilities and career objectives. The program aims to supervise and empower female scientists during the advanced stages of their careers.
