The University of Cologne is pleased to announce after a very successful sixth cycle of its International Female Scholars Mentoring Program (IFS Mentoring) a new cycle beginning in January 2019. The program aims to supervise and empower female scientists during the advanced stages of their careers. The participants of the mentoring program will benefit from the experience of their mentors, who will be chosen carefully in an individual matching process. Through additional training and seminars, participants will gain insight into key aspects such as work-life-balance (balancing personal lives and careers), career planning, acquisition of project funds, etc. Individual coaching encourages participants to develop their own skills. The deadline for applications is October 28, 2018.
