Project fund for the promotion of internal university measures

Through the Department Gender & Diversity Management, regular applications can be made for in-kind funding to implement projects and measures in the area of diversity and inclusion. The aim is to support projects for the implementation of the Equal Opportunities Strategy and the Action Plan for Inclusion at the University of Cologne. Students as well as employees of the faculties, central institutions and administrative institutions are eligible to apply.
 


DIVERSITY Project Fund 2024

Preference will be given to projects in the fields of anti-discrimination and educational equity, as well as to projects that take into account the interaction of at least two dimensions of discrimination (in the sense of intersectionality).

INCLUSION Project Fund 2024

The objective of the Inclusion Project Fund is to support projects that are specifically related to the implementation of the Inclusion Action Plan and the advancement of students with disabilities and chronic illness.

AWARENESS-Fund 2024 (single tender)

The goal of the fund is to increase university members' awareness of structural discrimination in the university context. Funding is provided for workshops and trainings in the areas of anti-discrimination, unconscious bias, critique of racism, critique of anti-Semitism and critical whiteness. Applications may be submitted at any time. The grant fund has limited availability.
